Susan Tamim was a popular Lebanese singer who became famous in the 1990s and early 2000s. She was born on October 31, 1977, in Beirut, Lebanon. She began her singing career in 1996 with her debut album, "Bahlam Beek". Her subsequent albums, "Habeet Yaalam Albi" and "Nikhtasr Aneek", also received critical acclaim and earned her numerous awards.
However, Susan Tamim's life was cut short when she was brutally murdered in her apartment in Dubai, UAE on July 28, 2008. The perpetrator was found to be a former Egyptian police officer named Mohsen el-Sukkary, who had been hired by Susan Tamim's ex-husband, Adel Matouk, to kill her. Both el-Sukkary and Matouk were eventually found guilty of the murder and were sentenced to death.
